what's included in your services?

each service is personalized to each client providing you with a full face of makeup application that enhances your individual features.

how to prepare for my makeup appointment?

amanda recommends a thorough cleanse removing any impurities and residual makeup. exfoliate to remove any build up of dead skin cells to improve skin texture. for a special event apply your favourite sheet mask the night before to ensure your skin is hydrated and prepared for makeup application. amanda will finish off your skin prep to ensure the makeup will sit well on top. ensure you are wearing a suitable top if you will later be wearing a different outfit with exposed skin (eg. neck/chest/shoulders) to ensure amanda can apply makeup where needed.

are you available to travel?

amanda is available to travel in the wellington region and nationwide for bookings (travel rates apply as per t and c's).

how to be prepared at your home/getting ready place when amanda travels to you?

amanda will need a space with ideally good natural lighting, a table to work from and access to a power point. please let amanda know in advance if onsite parking is not available, the client is responsible to notify amanda so other arrangements can be made.

how far in advance can i book you for special occasion makeup?

up to six months in advance.

how far in advance can i book you for my wedding?

amanda can take wedding bookings up to twelve months in advance.

when should i have my pre wedding preview makeup appointment

amanda recommends booking your pre wedding preview makeup three to six months in advance. please be aware this is not amanda's full time job so availability is limited.

how long have you been doing makeup?

amanda is a qualified makeup artist that studied fashion makeup artistry and special effects makeup in 2014. after graduating she quickly worked for elizabeth arden as a counter manager before moving on to mac cosmetics. for the last eight years amanda has been working full time teaching on the makeup artistry courses at weltec whilst freelancing. amanda is also a senior makeup artist working for the world of wearable art shows.
